A model, not a verdict
Different biological-age methods may use blood biomarkers, DNA methylation, physical performance or combinations of variables. Two methods can produce different answers for the same person because they are measuring different aspects of biology.
A score should never overrule symptoms, examination, established risk factors or appropriate diagnostic evaluation.
Longitudinal data are more informative
Repeated measurements can reveal direction, but only when collection is reasonably consistent. Laboratory method, fasting status, acute illness, training load, sleep and medication changes may influence results.
The useful question is not simply whether a value moved. It is whether the change is reliable, clinically meaningful and connected to an action that improves health or function.
Measure outcomes that matter
Body composition, blood pressure, lipids, glucose regulation, strength, aerobic capacity, sleep and quality of life may provide a more actionable picture than a single composite score. A well-designed program keeps the score subordinate to the person.
