Michael J. Hall, MD, MSc

A wider lens on health and aging.

Dr. Hall’s work reframes aging as a modifiable systems process shaped by the interaction of stress, adaptation and time. His focus is preserving functional integrity across the lifespan — including cognition, performance, resilience and agency.

That philosophy became the foundation of the Aging Funnel™ and his book Infinite Youth: a practical way to understand how many small biological pressures can converge into disease, and how earlier, more precise intervention can change the trajectory.

Education & clinical training

He trained at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation, and pursued advanced study at Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering. He later earned a master’s degree from New York University.

Dr. Hall is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and completed fellowship training in integrative and functional medicine at the University of Miami.

International clinical and humanitarian work across New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Haiti, the Bahamas and Tanzania helped shape an interdisciplinary view of medicine grounded in adaptability, context and the realities of human lives.
